Claire Wilmot is a research assistant for the Hybrid Justice Project, and a research officer at the Global Justice Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs. She completed her undergraduate degree from McGill University, and recently graduated from with her master’s degree from the Munk School at the University of Toronto. Her diverse research interests converge around a desire to better understand the causes and consequences of violence, and the role of national and international judicial reform in addressing some of these challenges. With the Global Justice Lab, she works with justice officials in Nigeria and Ontario to clarify obstacles to criminal justice reform, and contributes to the development of indicators to help institutions understand the dynamics of their challenges, and communicate their impact. She also currently works as a research assistant for the Wayamo Foundation, and the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
