The literature review focused on analyses of the “impacts” of hybrid courts. We selected articles that could be described as internal evaluations of the courts. These tended to analyze the court’s legal framework, jurisprudence, and functional effectiveness. We also selected articles that could be described as external evaluations of hybrid courts. These tended to analyze the impact of the court on communities and individuals, the country’s domestic justice system, and themes such as reconciliation and healing. If you have an article you would like to include in any of the literature reviews, please contact us.
